Together

Let’s Work

Clinical supervision is an opportunity to develop your clinical identity with intention, curiosity, and depth. As a Clinical Supervisor, I provide virtual supervision for emerging therapists throughout Colorado who are completing the supervised hours required for licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). My approach is grounded in psychodynamic, Jungian, depth-oriented, and trauma-focused perspectives, creating space to think deeply about the therapeutic relationship, unconscious dynamics, attachment, and the complexities of clinical work. Together, we will cultivate your confidence as a clinician while strengthening case conceptualization, ethical decision making, and your capacity to remain present with clients in meaningful and transformative ways.

Our Approach

I view clinical supervision as more than a space to discuss interventions or refine treatment plans. It is an opportunity to develop the capacity to think psychologically, tolerate uncertainty, and become more fully yourself as a therapist. The therapeutic relationship is never simply about techniques. It is shaped by the unique inner worlds of both therapist and client, and supervision offers a place to thoughtfully explore that complexity.

My work is rooted in psychodynamic, Jungian, depth-oriented, and trauma-focused traditions that honor the unconscious, symbolic meaning, and the transformative potential of authentic relationship. Together, we will explore transference and countertransference, attachment, dreams when clinically relevant, archetypal themes, and the ways personal history and culture influence the therapeutic process. Rather than seeking quick answers, we cultivate the capacity to remain curious, reflective, and present with what is emerging.

This approach is well suited for emerging therapists and mental health professionals who are drawn to depth psychology and relational psychotherapy. If you are looking for clinical supervision in psychology or clinical supervision in counseling that values both clinical competence and the ongoing development of the therapist, our work together will support not only how you practice, but who you become in the consulting room.

What’s Included?

Clinical supervision is offered virtually to emerging therapists throughout Colorado who are working toward licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), as well as mental health professionals seeking ongoing consultation. Whether you are completing supervised clinical practice or looking to deepen your clinical thinking, supervision provides a collaborative space to strengthen your confidence, clinical identity, and therapeutic presence.

Most supervisees meet biweekly, although weekly supervision is available based on your training needs and licensure requirements. Supervision is primarily conducted individually, providing dedicated time for case consultation, ethical decision making, and the development of your unique clinical voice. Together, we will explore clinical work through psychodynamic, Jungian, depth-oriented, and trauma-focused perspectives, with thoughtful attention to attachment, unconscious dynamics, transference and countertransference, and the therapeutic relationship. This reflective approach to clinical supervision in psychology and clinical supervision in counseling supports the integration of theory, self-awareness, and effective clinical practice.

For clinicians who value learning alongside peers, small group supervision may also be available. If you have colleagues or like-minded therapists interested in participating together, I am happy to facilitate a supervision group. Whether you are completing licensure requirements or seeking clinical supervision for mental health professionals, our work together is designed to foster thoughtful, ethical, and grounded clinical practice.

“With the support of competent supervisors, the therapists are usually able to master their own troubled feelings & put them into perspective”

TESTIMONIALS

What to Expect

The first step is a brief consultation to discuss your training goals, supervision requirements, clinical interests, and what you are hoping to gain from the experience. This conversation allows us to explore whether my psychodynamic, Jungian, depth-oriented, and trauma-focused approach aligns with your professional development. Finding the right supervisory relationship is important, and I encourage you to ask questions about my style, expectations, and how we might work together.

01

Schedule a Consultation

If we decide to move forward, we will establish a supervision schedule that supports both your professional goals and Colorado's licensure requirements. Most supervisees meet biweekly, though weekly supervision is available when appropriate. Sessions provide a dedicated space for case consultation, ethical reflection, and thoughtful exploration of the therapeutic relationship. Together, we will deepen case conceptualization while integrating psychodynamic, Jungian, and trauma-focused perspectives into your clinical practice.

02

Begin Clinical Supervision

As you progress through supervision, you will continue refining your clinical judgment, deepening your therapeutic presence, and developing confidence in your work. My goal is to support you not only in meeting Colorado's requirements for LPC licensure, but also in becoming a thoughtful, ethical, and grounded depth-oriented therapist. By the time you complete your supervised clinical practice, my hope is that you leave with more than the hours required for licensure. You leave with a stronger clinical identity, a deeper understanding of yourself as a therapist, and a foundation that will continue to shape your work throughout your career.

Nadia Rae

Meet Nadia Rae

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Clinical Supervisor, I provide clinical supervision for emerging therapists pursuing LPC licensure in Colorado. I received formal clinical training in Depth Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute, where I earned my M.A. in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Depth Psychology, and I am currently completing my Ph.D. in Depth Psychology. Over the past seven years, my experience has included community mental health, work with children, adolescents, and families, suicide assessment and intervention, organizational consultation, and private practice specializing in adults healing from childhood trauma.

My approach to clinical supervision bridges the rich traditions of depth psychology with the realities of contemporary clinical practice

Rooted in psychodynamic, Jungian, relational, and trauma-informed perspectives, supervision integrates theory with thoughtful case consultation, ethical decision making, and the complexities of the therapeutic relationship. Together, we explore unconscious dynamics, transference and countertransference, attachment, and symbolic meaning while developing practical clinical skills. My goal is to help therapists move beyond simply understanding theory to embodying it in their work, cultivating greater presence, confidence, and an authentic clinical voice.
