Therapy Beyond theSurface
It can feel like everywhere you look, someone is telling you what you need to heal.
Your nervous system. Your attachment. Your childhood. Your relationship patterns.
There’s always another book to read, practice to try, or “better” version of yourself you’re supposed to become.
At some point, healing can start to feel like another way you’re not quite doing enough.
And yes, I know the irony. You’re on my website, reading about how to work with me.
But I don’t believe you’re a project to complete. Healing is not a finish line you’re failing to reach.
My approach to trauma informed psychotherapy is rooted in depth psychology. Drawing from psychodynamic and Jungian therapy, we don’t just ask how to make something go away. We get curious about what’s underneath:
Why does this pattern keep showing up?
What might it be protecting?
What might be trying to get your attention?
TRAUMA-INFORMED THERAPY, ROOTED IN DEPTH PSYCHOLOGY
Rooted in depth psychology, my approach to trauma informed therapy integrates Jungian therapy, psychodynamic therapy, somatic awareness, shadow work, and relational work.
We’re not only interested in what’s happening on the surface. We get curious about the patterns underneath, where they came from, what they may have protected, and what they might be asking of you now.
In our work, we can explore:
Recurring patterns you understand but still find yourself repeating
Shadow work + parts of yourself you’ve learned to hide, reject, or push away
Your body + nervous system and what they may be communicating
Protective responses with curiosity rather than judgment
Earlier relationships + experiences and how they continue to shape the present
Dreams, symbols + your unconscious through a Jungian and depth-oriented lens
More choice in how you relate to yourself, others + your life
This kind of trauma informed psychotherapy makes room for your history without reducing you to it.
Whether we’re drawing from Jungian therapy, psychodynamic therapy, shadow work therapy, or somatic approaches, the goal isn’t to find another part of you that needs fixing.
This work is to help you understand yourself more deeply, relate to yourself differently, and create more room for who you’re becoming.

Getting Started Together
STEP 1 - REACH OUT FOR A FREE CONSULT
Fill out the form on my Contact Page and tell me a little about what’s bringing you here. I’ll be in touch within 48 hours to schedule your free video consultation via Zoom.
STEP 3 - WE BEGIN TOGETHER
Before your first session, take some time to think about your intentions, goals, and what you’d like to get out of our work together. You don’t need to have it all figured out. Come as you are, and we’ll take it from there.
We’ll meet to briefly talk about what you’re looking for. Ask me anything about my process or my approach to depth psychology, somatic coaching, or trauma-informed care. There’s no pressure to continue. If it feels like a good fit, we’ll schedule your first session.
STEP 2 - FIND THE RIGHT FIT TOGETHER
Maybe you’re looking for more than coping skills or another explanation for why you feel the way you do. You want to understand yourself in a way that actually changes your relationship with who you are.
That’s why I believe so deeply in a depth-oriented approach. To me, it’s more than a therapeutic modality. It’s a way of relating to ourselves with curiosity rather than judgment, and trusting that even the parts of us we struggle with may have something meaningful to say.
Hi, I’m Nadia!
I’m a depth-oriented therapist and coach, and I know firsthand the importance of having spaces where we can be deeply seen, understood, and supported.
