MEET NADIA RAE BRACKETT

Therapy Beyond theSurface

Many of my clients arrive here after years of trying to hold everything together on their own. Their trauma wasn’t one moment — it was the quiet, ongoing absence of emotional safety, attunement, or protection. This is the lived experience of what we in the field of psychology refer to as “complex trauma”: the kind of trauma that forms slowly over time, shaping how you see yourself, your relationships, and the world around you.

If you grew up navigating emotional neglect, inconsistent caregiving, or chronic overwhelm, you may now find yourself struggling with symptoms that feel confusing or heavy — persistent anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, shame that rises out of nowhere, or a constant sense that you’re bracing for something. Many adults with unresolved childhood trauma move through life feeling disconnected from their worth, mistrusting their instincts, or working endlessly to appear “fine,” even when they feel anything but. These patterns aren’t personal defects — they are survival responses from a nervous system that never felt fully safe.

As a licensed depth psychotherapist and Integrative Depth Psychology PhD student, my work is to help you gently unwind these survival patterns and reconnect with the Self you’ve longed to inhabit. My approach to C-PTSD therapy blends Jungian, psychodynamic, and nervous-system-oriented practices to support deep, lasting healing. Together, we explore both the emotional and somatic imprints of your trauma — the beliefs it created, the patterns it shaped, and the younger parts of you that learned to stay small to stay safe.

Depth-oriented therapy is a compassionate & conscious process of re-membering: bringing back the parts of you that were dismissed, silenced, or fragmented. Our work offers a space where your story can be understood, your emotions can be met with attunement, and your nervous system can finally begin to settle. Over time, clients often notice the changes they’ve been seeking — steadier self-worth, healthier boundaries, more secure relationships, and a growing sense of inner grounding.

This journey is not about “fixing” you — it’s about healing what happened to you and reclaiming the parts of your identity that were never broken. If you are seeking C-PTSD treatment, trauma-informed therapy, or support in healing self-esteem wounds rooted in childhood, you don’t have to carry this work alone.

I’d be honored to support you and walk with you through this journey!

Meet Nadia

I’m a licensed psychotherapist who helps adult individuals untangle the places they feel stuck—whether in patterns of self-doubt, anxiety loops, or the lingering impact of childhood trauma. My work is grounded in depth psychology and the nervous system, blending Jungian and psychodynamic thought, trauma-informed care, and a warm, reflective therapeutic style.

I believe healing is both a psychological and embodied process. The stories we carry live not only in our minds but in our breath, our posture, our instincts, and the ways we relate to others. In our work together, we explore these threads with curiosity, compassion, and a focus on helping you reconnect with the parts of yourself that have long been protective, resilient, and longing to be understood.

My holistic approach is relational, reflective, and deeply human. I don’t sit above you with answers—I sit with you as we make meaning of your experience, explore the unconscious layers of your patterns, and bring more clarity and connection into your life. I value attunement and thoughtful pacing, creating a space where you can feel safe enough to slow down, notice what arises, and step into your own inner authority.

Clients often come to me when they’re ready to understand themselves in a deeper way—beyond coping, beyond surface-level fixes. I support those navigating self-esteem challenges, perfectionism, trauma, and the ache of not quite feeling like they belong. Together, we work toward a steadier relationship with yourself, grounded in insight, embodiment, and a growing sense of Self.

Depth Therapy

Our inner world is deeply influenced by our unconscious psyche—how our nervous system is on the day to day, how we react and show up in our relationships, the stories and narratives that we believe about ourselves, and our overall well-being are all impacted by the unconscious. C.G. Jung once said, “People will do anything, no matter how absurd, in order to avoid facing their own souls. One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious”.

Depth therapy is an opportunity to go beneath the surface and connect with your unique inner guidance in effort to order to develop a greater sense of wholeness. In our work together, we’ll explore how your inner mind, body, and emotions work together through an integrative psychodynamic and Jungian approach.. These holistic modalities help you locate the root cause of your symptoms and gain capacity to be with all emotions and all parts of yourself. This journey empowers you to begin to more deeply embrace who you truly are, let go of who you are not, and feel a greater sense of meaning in this lifetime.

My specialty is working with adult individuals who have endured complex trauma and are struggling with C-PTSD, anxiety, perfectionism, and self-esteem.
